HOW TOURNAMENT WILL WORK

• TEENS ONLY (12-18 year olds)


• 1 vs. 1


• The hosting library will decide if the session will be double or single elimination.


• Top 2 players from each qualifying round will move on to the championship at ImaginOn. (With 17 qualifying rounds, there will be a total of 34 teens in the championship round)


• Those who DO place 1st or 2nd at a qualifying round may not compete at another branch until the championship at ImaginOn on August 13th.


• Those who DO NOT place 1st or 2nd at a qualifying round may enter more qualifying rounds throughout the summer.

GAME SETTINGS FOR TOURNAMENT

• Stock 3


• 5 minute time limit (if tie, go to sudden death)


• Random Stages


• “Medium” Items set at random


• All characters available

EQUIPMENT

• Game will be played on a Nintendo Wii


• All players will be using the library’s GameCube controllers.


• NO PERSONAL CONTROLLERS PLEASE
